Beyond 2010 – Introduction.

Amongst the many curiosities in life there are those that defy the imagination – no, they seem to be beyond the capacity of our imaginations. Or perhaps it is just my own imagination that is lacking.

When I was very young I was puzzled by the fact that I could ask a question, deduce the correct answer but not understand the answer – my imagination could not expand to encompass the answer.

For instance at around age 10, I contemplated the state of death – I could not envisage my own non existence.
Therefore I started to contemplate my own existence for eternity. I got a real shock when I realized I could not imagine eternity either.

I tried to imagine space – nothing contained within nothing. I found the task impossible and came to realize that we are, or at least I am, a being conditioned to containerization, at least where time and space is concerned.

Conditioned to everything having a beginning and an end; conditioned to thinking that everything exists within a certain framework, encompassed by another framework. Even though I realize that that is impossible, I cannot imagine it otherwise.
I can imagine our world the size of a pin head sitting inside a universe the size of an orange which is within another universe and so on – but where does it all end? –The answer is simple enough – there can be no end – but try to imagine no end – that’s where I run into trouble.

For the past decade I have purpose built several websites covering different topics [ see my online developments] . During this time I have come across what I consider to be very interesting, funny and thought provoking content online. Many times I have had the immediate impulse to share what I have found interesting with others. However my own sites were on a different topic, therefore it was inappropriate to place links to these other interesting sites on my websites.
So finally now in and beyond 2010 I have devised a way to share anything I consider worthwhile sharing, through this website.
