The owner of this gold coin must have been a giant – it certainly won’t fit into my pocket!

The worlds largest gold coin a 1 million dollar maple leaf, measures 53 centemeters across and is made of pure gold.
Minted three years ago it is the biggest and heaviest in the world, weighing 100kg.

Due to the recent rise in gold prices it is estimated that this coin could fetch 4 million dollars at the auction due to be held at the end of this month at Dorotheum auction house in Vienna.

The record-breaking coin had been on loan to a museum in Vienna but its owner, an Austrian investment firm went bankrupt, placing the coin on the market.

Well as expected The most expensive coin in the world has been sold by auction at the Dorotheum for 3,270,000 euros.
