How Do You Pick Winning Resource Stocks In Todays Market?
Australia’s most relentless, well-travelled,
independent resource analyst reveals…
“The only way to
pick winning
resource stocks”
Dear Reader,
Here’s a simple question for you: how do you find the most exciting – and potentially the MOST profitable – small resource stocks in Australia?
Do you need a great stock broker? Do you need access to inside information the general public doesn’t have?
Is it even possible – without any of the above – to find the best resource stock stories of 2012 before they happen… before thousands of investors all scramble at once to buy, driving the price up and up?
I think the answer is yes.
You CAN find the most promising small diggers and drillers on the Australian market.
But there’s only one way to do it: by the numbers.
What do I mean by that?
Let me show you…
On the ground research,
right where it happens
There are three ways to find out about Australia’s resource investments.
You can swallow the marketing gargle presented on company websites (and believe me, some of these PR people try to stuff a lot of BS down your throat).
You can pick up stock recommendations from investment message boards online or get a ‘hot tip’ from a friend or neighbour and hope it will come off.
OR… you can go out into the big wide world and hunt for the best stories and biggest profits in fields where you’ve got the entire game to yourself.
It’s the latter that I prefer to do.
It’s something readers of my advisory service, Diggers and Drillers, appreciate too.
Just ask Chris and Marilyn Ford:
“I have been trading small and medium cap resource stocks for about fifteen years and over that time have spent and in some cases wasted a lot of cash on advice. Diggers and Drillers far outperforms anything available in Australia today… and allows me to trade in confidence knowing that the stocks covered have been properly researched.”
And that’s my point: To really power up your resource stock returns you need to venture off the beaten track – you need to go where mainstream fund managers and analysts simply will not tread.

This is what I do for my readers week in, week out.
My name is Dr. Alex Cowie. I’m editor of Diggers and Drillers, Australia’s premier resource stock newsletter.
So what do I mean when I say I’ve been out into the big bad world?
Well, in the last 456 days I have:
- Travelled to 7 countries on 6 continents in order to visit mining projects first-hand and see them with my own eyes.
- Met with 12 CEO’s, 39 Managing Directors, 17 geologists, and 14 CFOs to ask hard questions and get direct answers straight from the horse’s mouth.
- Attended conferences in Hong Kong, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Kalgoorlie where I personally interviewed and quizzed representatives of over 108 companies, seeking the great Aussie resource stories that have yet to be told.
- Logged over 36,000 kilometres in frequent flyer miles on my way to various mining projects, including projects in all but one of the Australian states and territories.
- Consumed over eight dozen long blacks in “coffee chats” with the management of small mining companies eager to visit Diggers and Drillers’ St Kilda HQ to tell me their story.
- Recommended a total of 18 stocks to my readers. Of the current open positions the largest gainer is up 90%. The biggest loser (but one of my favourite gold stocks) is down 38% – a great BUY opportunity by the way. (Correct as of 20/10/2011).
What I’ve learned over the years is that there’s only one way you can beat other investors to the best resource stocks.
