Elanora, straddling Divisions 13 and 14, has the greatest installed solar capacity (387 kW), and has been named as the best solar suburb by Gecko – Gold Coast and Hinterland Environment Council (Gecko) as part of the Solar Savers Challenge awareness campaign. (Installed solar capacity is the measurement of the combined power of all the solar systems in the suburb.)
